Tara Alain

Tara is a trauma-informed Mindfulness Meditation Teacher,  Mindfulness Coach, and Co-Founder of ReConnect Groups.  She is also a facilitator of the Mindfulness-based Stress Management Program, with additional certification in Eco-psychology- a nature-based approach to wellness.

After experiencing a peak spiritual experience in Peru in 2005, Tara began a dedicated  meditation practice that continues today.  Her love of the wisdom teachings inspires her to study, practice and teach the gems that she has had the privilege of learning along the way. Along with a deep connection with the natural world, Tara also guides her clients through mindfulness in nature practices.

Tara has  brought mindfulness to hundreds of people through individual and group facilitation in her community work and 14 years in residential treatment for addictions , trauma, and mental health issues.

Her inspiration comes from guiding others and seeing the profound effects of slowing down and becoming present to self, others and the natural world.
